  • In-person, hybrid, and telehealth options are available. For In Person visits my office is located at 1634 I “Eye” St Suite 550 in Northwest Washington, DC. It is directly over the Farragut West Metro station. All Telehealth sessions are conducted via HIPAA secure video platform.

  • You do not have to live in DC for telehealth services. I am part of an inter-jurisdictional compact called PSYPACT and am able to practice across state lines, and a growing number of states that have passed the legislation. Follow this link here to find out if you live in a participating state.

  • I am not in network with any insurance companies and am considered an out of network provider. This is because when billing in network insurance companies dictate many aspects of our work, including the length, amount, and kinds of therapy we utilize. I would also have to disclose confidential information to the insurance company. I do provide superbills for you to receive reimbursement from your insurance company directly

  • The day of session you are billed the full session fee, which is $240. At the end of every month you are provided a superbill to send to your insurance company and then they will reimburse you directly.

    Most insurance companies will cover between 50%-80% of the full session fee after a deductible is met. I am happy to provide a list of questions to ask your insurance company before starting therapy so you can know coverage amounts for your specific insurance plan.

  • Therapy is different for everyone and we adjust session based on your goals and background. We may spend some sessions processing how your current issues are affected by your personal history, while other times we may work on understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We may also talk about different skills that may be helpful to utilize. In any case, each session is aimed at helping you address your concerns and move toward living a more meaningful, intentional, value-led life.

  • Reach out! I find it helpful to have a complimentary 15-30 minute phone consultation before starting our therapeutic work. We will talk through your therapy goals and I can share how I would approach those concerns in therapy. I can answer any other questions so you can best assess if we would be a good therapeutic fit.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
